Hey creatives! My name is Riyad Hossen Sajjad. You can call me Riyad. I'm a Bangladeshi children's storybook illustrator based in Dhaka. I love to draw whimsical and cozy illustrations and seek inspiration in cozy nature and vintage photographs for my illustrations.
My journey in art began in the early years of my life, when I was in the 1st grade. I used to paint the general life of villagers, as I used to live in the countryside. Also, I enjoyed sculpting too basic elements of nature with mud with the help of my mother. She has been the fundamental person in my life to inspire me in the arts.
However, I started digital illustration just three years ago. Before that, I used to use traditional art media for my illustration. But now I love creating and experimenting with Adobe Photoshop and Procreate as part of my digital illustration process.
